Amanda LeMay, APRN

Amanda has always had a passion for caring for others. She was raised in the suburbs of Chicago and has continued to practice there throughout her career. She completed her undergraduate degree at Lewis University and began her nursing career on the south side of Chicago. Later, she transitioned to the suburbs, where she worked in various outpatient settings, including the emergency room, wellness clinics, and a procedural pain clinic. Through this experience, the desire to become a provider drove her to graduate school. She attended the University of St. Francis, where she received High Honors and graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing.

She worked for 3 years at the Will County Community Health Center in Family Medicine. The incredible need for a new approach to medicine became increasingly apparent to Amanda. Complementary and alternative therapies have always been at the forefront of Amanda’s practice and her approach to medicine. One of the key phrases she implements with her patients is “movement and food are medicine.” Being able to implement a holistic approach at ProActive Wellness Group has been such a welcome and exciting opportunity. She loves being able to see many lives impacted by regenerative medicine married with chiropractic treatment and other integrative modalities.

In her free time, Amanda loves to spend time with her husband and two children, listening to music, crafting, or engaging in outdoor activities. She enjoys giving back to the community and inspiring others to be generous and kind.
